Fletcher Building RTG’s Managing Director for Middle East and Africa speaks exclusively to the Middle East edition of Business Chief magazine.

Delivering roofing solutions through three well-established brands – Decra, Gerard and Fortiza – Fletcher Building RTGA is well positioned to take advantage of the growing investment climate in the Middle East and Africa.

A regional division of the New Zealand building giant, Fletcher Building, the unit has grown a rich history and reputation in the sector, standing today as a crucial part of the multi-billion-dollar multinational.

Combining this trusted reputation, with a standout portfolio and innovative way of thinking, the building giant is set to grow its presence across the MEA region.

“We need to realise that the Africa-Middle East region is a large one, and that by 2030 around 25% of the world’s population will live in this part of the world. There will be a big housing deficit and that is a huge opportunity,” said Lamjed Kefi.

“We have already built up a very high brand equity in the region. We are the largest branded metal rooftile supplier, and that is in part due to what we have invested in marketing, not only online but also on billboards, at trade shows and on TV and radio spots.”
